LAURA MORANTE
WHO AM I?
My name is Laura, I am 31 years old, and I am a French-Spanish woman who recently moved to London.
My world combines anticipation, dystopia, and science fiction—a way of giving voice to the uncertain futures that arise from the fractures in our society.
It was essential for me to write the stories I missed growing up: strong, assertive heroines and uncompromising queer characters. Stories that are accessible to all and captivating, but always imbued with essential questions about the world around us.
As a neuroatypical person, reading has often been my refuge and writing my escape. Today, I am happy to be able to share a part of this inner world with you.
Outside of writing, I practice street photography under the name 63bpm, compose post-punk music, chase my dog when he steals something from the trash... and try to be a somewhat functional human being (without much success).
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to dive into my universe and follow the adventures of Kiev and his friends aboard the Icarus.
Feel free to sign up for my newsletter to stay informed about my latest news and upcoming releases.
